ESL Department Instructors and Staff
Scott Alexander received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Long Beach. He received his teaching credential from Los Angeles County Office of Education in 2013. He is also an instructor in the GED/High School Diploma program here at DAS helping students improve their reading and writing skills to prepare them for their future careers.
Claudia Escalera received a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Studies – Vocational Education from California State University, Long Beach. She received her teaching credential from Los Angeles County Office of Education in 2005. Claudia has worked in adult education for over 16 years.
